Experiment #001 — Swag.Crafted
Status: ✅ Proof of Concept Confirmed
🧠 The Hypothesis
Could a swag website feel handcrafted, creative, and premium — while still offering free freight, no setup fees, and easy ordering?
Most promo sites look and feel transactional. I wanted to create something that felt crafted — something with the same spark as the creative process itself: colorful, intentional, and a little bit chaotic (in the best way).
That’s where the experiment began.
🧾 The Brief
Client (aka me): Flat Rhonda Creative Lab
Objective: Design a launch experience that feels handcrafted, premium, and fun.
Challenge: Turn something practical — but oh so needed (free freight and free setup) — into something magnetic:
a story worth sharing.
The world didn’t need another catalog.
It needed a vibe — a creative playground where good ideas and good perks meet.
☕ The Method
Inside the Flat Rhonda Creative Lab, we brewed up color, caffeine, and chaos.
The ingredients:
-
🎨 Neon magenta + teal color palette (because dull isn’t an option)
-
✍️ Bold storytelling that celebrates the why behind every promo item
-
💡 Real creative perks: 2 hours of complimentary artwork time, coast-to-coast free freight, and zero setup fees
We mixed, tested, and iterated until the concept felt alive.
💥 The Result
✅ Proof of Concept: Swag.Crafted
A digital experience that proves “free freight” and “no setup” don’t have to sound boring — they can sound like freedom.
Swag.Crafted became the first successful experiment in the Flat Rhonda Creative Lab, setting the tone for a new series that explores how creativity, storytelling, and smart perks make promotional products feel like branding experiences.
🌟 The Takeaway
Great swag isn’t ordered — it’s crafted.
And when you mix creativity with accessibility, you create something people actually want to engage with.
This is just the beginning.
Experiment #002 is already in the works — and it’s about to get even buzzier. 🐝
